HOUSE OF PHUNK MUSIC was founded in 1994 by Earl Williams, Earl has been in the music business since 1982 and at a very young age he was an apprentice for ROYAL RECORDING STUDIOS in Memphis, Tennesse. There he was working with some of the Best of the Best, Willie Mitchell (Al Green's producer), also William Brown whom engineered music for The Bar Kays, Prince, Luther Van Dross, The Soul Children, ZZ Top and the Rolling Stones, also Lester Snell who produced for Artists such as Shirley Brown, Latimoore, etc...!

Earl later worked with serveral recording artists of Malaco Records he later signed with a record company out of Jackson, Mississippi, as an artists himself, there he worked with Bobby Rush, Kyper, JT, Watkins, Frank-O, UGK and many more!!! In 1994 Mr. Williams completed his schooling in Ohio, then moved to Baton Rouge, where he funded HOUSE OF PHUNK and worked with several top artists such as Mystical, Ghetto Commission, Nero, Young Bleed, Ms Peaches, Lil Wayne, Mrs. Stephanie Mac D ( Blues Artist) and Lava House Records. Now House of Phunk Music resides in Shreveport Louisiana and Dallas, TX with Lava House Records and producing Lava House recording artists "BIG POPPA", "UNTAME MAYNE","ANGIE LOCC", "MR.
